 Carolyn Cross Director of Purchasing |
Carolyn Cross, Director of Purchasing, has 16 years of service with the health science center, most recently as Associate Director of Purchasing. She has been in public purchasing for over 20 years and holds a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification. She earned her B.S. degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University in 2004 and her M.L.A degree from Texas Christian University in 1997. Carolyn looks forward to the opportunity to provide procurement services to the UNT System as a whole. | |
 Connie Ross Director of Payroll |
Connie Ross, Director of Payroll, joined the BSC after nearly ten years of service to UNT Health Science Center as the Director of Payroll. She earned her B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Texas in Arlington. Connie served as the HR/Payroll module lead during the EIS implementation in 2003. In November 2010, she accepted appointment to the BSC Core Implementation Team. This team evaluated and identified services shared across the UNT System and helped plan an organization capable of delivering those services. Connie is very proud to be a part of the BSC and is looking forward to the unlimited opportunities ahead. She is excited about her contribution to the shared service initiative and looks forward to its legendary impact on the UNT System and higher education. | |
 Debbie Reynolds Director of Client Services |
Debbie Reynolds, Director of Client Services, joined the BSC Team after 4 years as the Director of Purchasing for UNT. Prior to UNT, Debbie enjoyed a 32 year career in state government serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. In previous roles, she served as a Chief Accountant, Business Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Regional Administration Director, and as a Chief Executive Officer. Debbie is excited to be a part of the BSC Team and is looking forward for the opportunities to blaze new trails in the shared services concept. As Director of Client Services, she is tasked with monitoring customer satisfaction and looks forward to providing the best solution to all of your needs. | |

Donna Shell |
Donna Shell, Human Resources Director for the BSC, has for the past few years, served as Benefits and Records Manager in the Human Resources Department at Texas Woman’s University. Prior to that she was employed by the University of North Texas Human resources department and has served the UNT campus for over 20 years in various capacities, including Associate Director for Benefits and Records. |

 Eddie Reyes Director of HUB Coordination |
Eddie Reyes began his UNT career in 2004 as the Assistant HUB Coordinator, Outreach, Denton. Currently, as HUB Coordinator, Eddie is thankful for the challenging experience the position has offered and enjoys working with both the public and UNT staff. In 2010 the HUB department was recognized, for its work with Minority & Women business owners, by the Small Business Administration and was recognized as the Minority Business Champion of the Year. The award was presented at the White House by President Obama. Last year, Eddie was also the recipient of the Minority Business Leader Award by the Dallas Business Journal. |

R. Joey Saxon |
Joey Saxon serves as the Executive Director of Operations for the BSC. He was formerly the UNT Senior Director of Purchasing and Payment Services from April 2007 – August 2011 and the UNT Director of Student Accounting and University Cashiering Services where he worked for over 16 years. Joey received his Ed.D. in higher education administration, MBA and BBA from UNT. He previously served on the BSC Core Implementation Team, UNT Information Technology Council, UNT Enrollment Management Committee and numerous statewide committees. Joey is proud to be part of the BSC Team and looks forward to the positive impact that will be made across the UNT System. | |
 Leonard Bates Director of Information Services |
Leonard Bates, Director of Information Services, joined the UNT Health Science Center Human Resources department in September of 2006. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University and has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Prior to joining the Health Science Center he held various positions in the IT field for 30+years. |

 Mary Atkins Executive Assistant |
Mary Atkins, Executive Assistant, served as a staff member for 12 years at UNT prior to joining the BSC and also worked as a student employee. She received her BA in English (Literature) from UNT and is currently pursuing her MS in Library Sciences. She is excited to be part of the BSC and is enjoying working with her new team.

 Ruth Moors Director of General Accounting |
Ruth Moors, Director of General Accounting, joined the UNT Payroll Office in July, 1993. Prior to working in Payroll, she worked in Claims Accounting (now Purchasing and Payment Services) for 8 years holding various positions within the office and leaving as the Assistant Director. Ruth holds a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas. She was a part of the BSC implementation team, involved with the EIS implementation, has been involved with various EIS upgrades and is acutely aware of the functional use of the EIS application. Ruth is excited about being a part of the Business Service Center and the enhancements it can bring to the campus community. |

 Susan Sims Director of Payments |
Susan Sims, Director of Payments, is an alumni of the University of North Texas. She was very thankful that she was able to obtain employment while completing her degree. Susan has worked at UNT for 24 years, 20 years in the student finance and 4 years in payments and travel. She is excited about the opportunities for all of us with the Business Service Center and looks forward to working with everyone. |
